Overview of Wire Drawing Workshop
The class is designed to help develop troubleshooting skills concerning wiredrawing problems. The end result is having your wire drawers working easier and smarter with greater productivity
The class takes approximately 3 to 4 hours and is designed to help develop troubleshooting skills in regard to wire drawing problems. The end result is having your operators doing their own problem solving and operating their equipment more efficiently.

- Preparing for a productive day
- Operating the machine rather than the machine running you
- What to look for when experiencing:
v Wire Breaks
v Die Scratching
v Excessive Die Wear
- The five major components to smooth wire drawing :
1. Raw material (rod itself)
2. Mechanical or Chemical Cleaning and Coating
3. Lubricants
4. Dies
5. Machine Upkeep (items which can cause problems with wire drawing)
